Ski Arlberg Weather

With the high-pressure system continuing to dominate, the wind over the Alps has veered south. This has brought about slight southerly foehn effects, making the air in our region noticeably drier. At the same time, however, it is also becoming significantly milder, meaning that the frost line will be at 3,000 metres above sea level on Thursday and Friday. This will be accompanied by glorious sunshine, which will only be clouded by the first few harmless clouds at sunset on Friday. This heralds slightly more changeable weather for the weekend, though with a continued light Föhn influence. Temperatures in the mountains will drop slightly for a while, but will rise noticeably again right at the start of next week. The southerly foehn in the mountains will also become significantly stronger at the start of the week. This widespread warming will be accompanied by high cloud fields, which will, however, remain harmless.
