This weekend, a southwesterly flow will bring fairly warm air our way. Föhn-like conditions will also be noticeable on the northern side of the Alps. Under the influence of a weak intertropical high, conditions will remain mostly dry. Rain showers will be the exception. As for sunshine, there will be more hours of sunshine on Saturday than on Sunday. The outlook for next week is still uncertain. At the start of the week, we will likely be under the influence of a low-pressure system extending toward Central Europe and thus also into the Alpine region. In addition to heavy cloud cover, there will also be some rain showers. Temperatures are expected to trend downward. As the week progresses, conditions are likely to remain rather cool and changeable. A significant cold snap is not expected.
